With the present world offering a variety of investment strategies, investment options and investment ideas, people often lack in the knowledge of proper and strategic implementation of these. So, for a better understanding of the same, the Department of Economics organised a seminar on 'The Role of National Stock Exchange and Financial Products' on August 21, 2019 for the undergraduate and post graduate students of Economics. The  speaker for the event was Mr Karan Kapoor, who is currently working with NSE, New Delhi, as the Deputy Manager - Businees Development.

A guest lecture on ‘Various Aspects of Research’was organised by the Department of Economics on the 9th August, 2019 for the post graduate students. The speaker for the session was Prof. Ganesh Kawadia from Devi Ahilya University, Indore, M.P. The session began with understanding the meaning of research, types of research methods- Sscientific method and non scientific, through various examples. The main aim of research is to find solution to the problems and it starts with a research question.
